Give way to Happiness

Have you ever wondered how to be happy….according to the October 2012 edition of Psychologies Magazine, the key is Giving as it feels good.  That is why we buy gifts and offer strangers a hand.  According to new research from the University of British Columbia giving is in our nature.  The study discovered that children under the age of two showed more signed of happiness when they gave a treat away than when they had it themselves.  And while giving a treat made the toddlers happier, giving away their own treat rather than any old treat had a stronger positive effect.  According to the co-author Dr Lara Aknin, ‘These findings show that children are actually happier giving rather than receiving.’

As there is an Inner Child in all of you, how well are you sharing?  If you find that you just think about yourself all the time and don’t really like to share or to give, now might be the time to rethink this behaviour!  If you know in your heart of hearts that you can’t change, then give me a call and I can teach you some Neuro Linguistic Programming techniques to make you more aware of your behaviour and to allow change for good.

If you are interested, give me a call on 07815 904848. Various techniques such as NLP, Hypnotherapy, Time Line Therapy and Emotional Freedom Technique can help you change your behaviour.  I have two clinics in Maidstone and also do home visits anywhere in the South East.
