Weight Loss

It is really easy for the weight to pile on because you don’t feel good. You beat yourself up by eating more stuff you shouldn’t, drink too much alcohol and before you know it, you are much heavier and it is hard to shift.  You may have had a chronic illness or accident which meant that you couldn’t exercise and now you find yourself heavier than ever before.  No one likes feeling bad about their size and shape and the key really is to love yourself (no matter what size you are).  When you are focused on your happiness and having a fulfilling life and living to your life purpose, you will find that your weight will naturally fall off.  Sometimes tough weight loss just doesn’t happen and this can be really frustrating.

Looking at the comparison of the photos of me on here, you can see the unhappiness behind my eyes in the 2nd picture. The one on the right is me in 2011, after I had had my miscarriage, but before I had started my business, so I had no debt at this time and was financially safe and sound.  At this time, the college I worked at was going through a restructure and I was unhappy about not being able to get pregnant and I’d been told by my employers that I wasn’t allowed to use my new therapy skills with staff, even though it would have made them more effective! I was like a split personality – suited and booted and ‘not me’ at work and at home I was much more relaxed and authentic by being me.

As I’ve worked on my ‘inner happiness’ my ‘outer happiness’ has just blossomed.  I didn’t deliberately focus on weight loss as my goal.
